U.S. Botanic Garden

Saturday afternoon I met up with some friends in DC. By the time I got into the city, they were just getting to the U.S. Botanic Garden. In the last year I've been there three times, while I had never been there the five years before that. I hadn't even heard about it really.
The first time I went there was for my friends' engagement photoshoot last winter. Then I went back for a maternity photoshoot with other friends later in the year.
The climate-controlled environment and bright colors were a welcome contrast to the winter outside. I also love the view of the Capitol from right in front of the garden. If you're on the National Mall and looking for a break from the cold and done with museums, check out the U.S. Botanic Garden.

I just made a mental note to visit the Botanical Garden on my next trip. Those plants are simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your blog is excellent. :)
